Penguin Boy prides itself in being a multi-disciplinary agency. We can create a corporate identity, produce a client’s stationery, their exhibition stands, annual report, campaign brand and then their website whilst advising them on on-line promotion through social networks. And through this we bring through our creative ideas and ability to apply diverse design styles to any project.
We think it’s vital to think beyond the ‘logo’ – to see the logo in the context of the wider visual identity which needs to be created in a consistent way to make a successful brand. We look at how the identity will work across a range of media and can help clients to plot strategies to launch and disseminate a new identity.
Design for Print
We regularly work on design for magazines, exhibition stands, annual reports, corporate stationary, promotional leaflets, flyers and almost anything else you can think of that you can print on. We also get involved in designing more unusual projects, from designs for vehicle wraps to cover double decker buses to quirky promotional give aways.
Whatever we’re producing, we always pay attention to the detail – whether it be the small print on the back of the brochure or the subtle nuances of correctly reproducing a company’s brand, we like the end product to always be perfect.
We also have good, long-term relationships with printers across the UK who support us through this work and can assist with organising mail shots and distribution.

Some of our more enjoyable creative work is in the field of book design, working with an expanding list of publishers in the UK and abroad. Bringing the creative flair of a background in art to the creative challenges of realising a cover design is something we’ve relished. We’ve tackled every brief as a truly unique project which needs to incorporate an originality and clarity to communicate in a crowded marketplace.
For many of the projects we have done, we have created both cover and designs for the internal pages of a book – creating a visual consistency and bringing creative ideas through the entirety of the final product.
We really do love book design and are eager to share that enthusiasm on every project we do.

We also design our sites as completely responsive – websites which looks great on smartphone, tablet and desktop devices. We’re also experienced in dealing with very different website projects and are used to producing attractive and effective content managed web solutions both large and small.

We can also come alongside organisations in the middle of a project to help them modify what they are doing as well as evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of a current campaign or existing website.
